Ungelogen. Wir freuen uns seit Wochen auf den heutigen Tag, denn wir entwickeln einen Simulator, den Ihr lieben werdet - und heute erzählen wir Euch endlich davon.
LOTUS wird ein Nahverkehrssimulator, mit dem wir neue Maßstäbe setzen.
In zwei Veröffentlichungsstufen erhaltet Ihr zuerst einen Simulator für Bus und Straßenbahn und anschließend die Erweiterung um U- und S-Bahnverkehr.
Derjenige, dem der reine Fahrspaß noch nicht genug ist, kommt ebenfalls voll auf seine Kosten, denn LOTUS wird von Anfang an einen vollwertigen Karteneditor enthalten und offen sein für umfangreiche Addons.
Lasst Euch überraschen, welche überragenden Features wir Euch in der kommenden Zeit noch preisgeben werden...

Honestly, we are looking forward to today for weeks. We are developing a simulator and you will love it - and today we can finally tell you about it.
LOTUS will be a public transport simulator, with which we are going to set new standards.
In two release steps you first get a simulator for bus and tram, followed by the ability to simulate metro and railway.
Those of you who are not satisfied with pure driving enjoyment get their money's worth with our full-fledged LOTUS map editor and with our open to comprehensive addons engine.
Be ready for surprises, we have so much superior features to reveal in future

Well, if they make a great job making it with the same good physics than OMSI, but with a very good optimitation, than OMSI will need to try harder. And also, if they put tram, subway and buses, they will win a lot of more of prestigity. I know, or I think that OMSI 3 will have them too, because they developed the trains and trams like making a beta, but without announcing it. This LOTUS projekt will maybe appear in 2018 or later, so OMSI has time to improve. But I hope that LOTUS will be better than OMSI, so someone can make them to work harder to stay in the markt. It looks weird that in 2016, a game have a 2000 graphics...

There will be no OMSI 3. It was LOTUS which was intended as a replacement for OMSI series from the very beginning. Furthermore, people responsible for LOTUS development are pretty much the ones who created OMSI, so I suppose they wouldn't make effort to defend old game's position in the market if they were going to release another, newer one soon.
