the dash and the wheel are based on real measurements. the wiper lever will be fixed, as i already mentioned. the buttons may be slightly different to original, but as long no one gives me real measurements for that, thats how it will be. also, if i fix your complaints, someone else is coming and will complain that its wrong, too. real measurements - feel free to contribute your knowledge. otherwise just stfu.

also, i don't borrow stuff from other users. i don't like alterrs Dashs so why should i implement it? someone likes the 3G Dash out of the O405's from Darius, someone alterrs , some mine - just because YOU don't like it, that does not mean no one else will.

The textures are renderbaked. nothing against one of you, but meaningless sugestions does not help at all. instead of complaining "this and that is too small or too big", give me actual informations about how it needs to be. (e.g. lengh/width/heigth). everything else is useless for us and just your personal opinion.

to get the facts straight again:
only a hand full people say that the dashboard isnt that good - all others do, even our reallive busdriver betatesters. Please, answer me this one question:
HOW can we fix a dashboard if even you can't tell us whats wrong with it? See? its not that easy. this has nothing to do with "stfu" - if one of YOU can help, feel free to do so. None of the people complaining over the dashboard can tell me whats wrong with it, so don't expect that its going to be fixed. and there it is again - what should be fixed? whats wrong with it? WHAT DO WE HAVE TO FIX? Something like" I don't like the dashboard." or "the dashboard looks bad" doesn't help at all.

Once again - the texturing looks bad (just like the first OMSI 3rd party busses). And once again - the door button(s) is (or looks like it is) round at the top, and should be completely flat. The rest is completely fine and I have completely nothing against it - maybe the display is a bit saturated, but it may depend on the vehicle's age or something.

For the texture part:

most of the people say the dashboards texture is absolutely fine. some say it isn't. if i fix the textures, maybe you are pleased then, but others will say that the textures are bad now. and if i fix the textures again, maybe they like it then, but all others don't. the dashboard was discussed a lot and probably 95 % of all the people , not only in the official omsi forum, said that its absolutely okay and don't need a rework. its like the airvents, which were discussed a lot too, were fixed, too. its not like that we don't want to do things we do better - but if something looks good or bad is in almost every case just a personal oppinion. its the same with the busses itself or cars - one like this color better than that, anotherone likes a comapact and yet another person likes the look of a sedan. So how should we handle it then, if the biggest part of the input is positive?

Alright, then the texturing of the buttons must be changed, because it just looks like it's round. Just look here:

Also there's only one type of original door buttons for VDO FAP, as it's an universal dashboard and all parts should be compatibile with other brand's busses (the VDV programme). By the way - I see that you've modelled the "new" Voith gearbox buttons - will it feature the old, universal ones as well? These ones:

For now, the dash looks too dark and too "flat".

When I was working on the VDO FAP texture for the Citaro Facelift I found that rendering out a few extra layers (in Blender Cycles engine) helped to add some depth to the texture.

1. The original texture from Alterr,
2. Added a diffuse texture,
3. Final polish with gloss shader.
