RE: Autodromo Busotto LU (NL 222)
Ahhhh, ok! Hoping you will share it with us, it looks good!
The gear selector doesn't work well: by choosing 1 or 2 gear position, the bus switchs anyway to the third gear, instead of remaining in the first or second ones. So, there's no difference in pressing 1, 2 or D gear button...
Ah: While he A/C system works fine, the heating system doesn't work at all: the bus doesn't get warm, and the tempereature switch is missing...

RE: Autodromo Busotto LU (NL 222)
The author is not IG gameplay, I think is "Omnibussimulator Mods Italia", because there's a repaint by them (though I couldn't find them anywhere on the web), because the guy on YT is portuguese but the description file is written in italian, I might think also that the bus is leaked and/or stolen.
For those who complain about the lack of gauges, that's simply because the bus is done like that, all fault indicators are on the left bank, note also that there are 2 "faults repeater" lamps on the main dashboard, so you know there's something wrong even without looking to the left panel ;-D

RE: Autodromo Busotto LU (NL 222, BETA)
Hi guys! It's the author here (finally, hahahaha:D )
First I want to thank you all for the good feedback and yes, I'm still working on the bus and want to finish it, but this bus wasn't meant to be out now!! What happened is that a guy in OMNIBUSSIMULATOR ITALIA (which is an italian omsi group on FB), who is not italian and doesn't speak italian at all published the bus in OMSI's Facebook page without asking me at all because he thought it was in public release state. So the thing spread and, even if they took off the link in a few hours, a lot of people downloaded it and so you got it here also.
So the bus "technically" is still in private beta in two OMSI italian communities. I initially took this decision as i have little time to spend on it (I'm 18 and it's my last year of school and I have exams) and therefore I can't provide a lot of support. Another reason is that I don't want modifications to come up while the bus is still under construction, 'cause they may not work in future releases.
But, now that things have changed and I see really good feedback here, let's say you can keep the bus here, but PLEASE DON'T SPREAD THE DOWNLOAD LINK.
That link, anyway, should always point to the latest developement release.
And here's the missing font for the license plate created by me: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8213fqhk408io1...e_1999.zip[/quote]
I might countinue to post here, but be aware that I don't speak Polish at all, and Google Translator is quite poor, but I perfectly understand English, so please write in English if you can.

Thanks again for the feedback, now I'm going to answer some questions in the previous posts.
First I want to comment przemcio78's long review: first I'm gonna add the gauges, which are situated over the driver's head. The internal lighting is very poor just because there is no lighting!!! I'm gonna add that when the interior textures are finished, because I have to do mapping first and then split the interior in three parts.
The other thing you complained about is the italian language - my first intention was to do all the descriptions in English, but - you know - italians don't know English so I decided to do an English manual at release time. I can also translate the labels if you want, but it would be a little more work of course. For those who wondered: yes, it can be considered the first italian bus out here, though it is unfinished and there are some in early (private) developement.

(05.10.2015 17:57)SanJose napisał(a):  The model is well executed. Will there be an articulated version?
NL222 because the chassis is by MAN as in reality.
The Busotto is based on MAN's NL2x2 floor assemblies: there are NL202, NL222, NL232 (CNG), NL262 (suburban) and also the articulated version NGT204, which is only available as a trolleybus (which is not supported in omsi), then I think I'm not going to create it.

CoYoTeK, I think you have some interesting hints for me in this sentences, but I can't translate them correctly, can you please re-write in English?

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Tienici aggiornati!

First of all, good luck for your exams! The bus is very good, and though are still missing the top of the cockpit (and the gauges), the interior lighting and the the ground floor, it's fully playble. Just fixed the gear box!

Coyotek said that, elements in your model have many unecessary objects. For example floor was completed from many little elements. When you attempt to bake it, it fails.

Sorry for my bad English

RE: Autodromo Busotto LU (NL 222, BETA)
Exactly.

Well, I want you to apologize for interference in model, ergo o3d files, cause I didn't know about model has been illegally released.:) You know that the bus has the potential, which can be used in the future, but it has a lot of mistakes.

Firstly, I want to draw attention to the performance of the model. While the body looks really good, interior leaves much to be desired.
I do not mean cockpit - it's nice. I think interior was contrary to appearances not finished.

- Many unnecessary object. When i tried baking object, result was poor. Too much unnecessary poly. I tried to fix it, on their own, as amended, and the effect was already more satisfactory.
- Try to create such elements from one object. Yes, it's more difficult, but better, than creating one element from many other.
- Leaky parts. Few elements have holes that I tried to patch. I do not mean emptiness over cockpit, but leaks over first doors, ( as I thought ) rear window and between driver and front window. You must fixed it.
- I think that you are using foto-textures. It's good, but like I said, the floor was really badly made. Anyway, you're not alone, many people did the same mistake, even myself:)

My English is not so good, but I think you understand the message.

Greetings!

RE: Autodromo Busotto LU (NL 222, BETA)
Hi there! Thanks for the quick and useful feedback.

First I'm going to answer to Roma: thanks for the greetings for the exams ;) ; btw, the script for the gearbox is very complex (and therefore heavy to load), so I'm not gonna touch it. It's the Voith D851.3 script by Morphi.

Now I'm gonna reply to CoYoTeK: the interior is - of course - unfinished.
I'm aware of some of the holes you mentioned and I'm going to close them sooner or later: the one near the driver's window has been already closed, the one above the front door has to be closed, but I didn't notice the one in the back windshield, so thanks for that:) .
Then let's come to the main topic: unnecessary objects. What do you mean exactly?
-too many .o3d files
-too many objects in the blender model - I should join them together
-too many polys - I should remove some parts (objects), like the metal stands on which the seats are mounted, because the poly count is too high.

For the baking (I mean baking the Ambient Occlusion) I can tell you it works fine for me: in fact I keep the different parts in separate objects (in blender) so I can bake them separately (e.g. the walls and the floor are separate), but when I'm done texturing I will join the parts of the interior together and then split the front, the center and the back for real-time illumination.
If I still keep a little fragmentation in blender and also in the o3ds it's just because of customizability and reusability: you can customise seat type and displacement and many other things with [setvar] variables in the .cti; moreover I may do a suburban (2-door) version and so I'd like to reuse as more o3ds as I can.

Actually 90% of the textures are CGI, so if you thought they were real photos it's a really good thing :D .

BTW, Your English is ok, don't worry. Hope to hear you soon

No, no, no. That kind of problem:

[Obrazek: rwqkSMg.png]
This is just an example, but this type of error I can many find.

See? You making one object from much other object, which creates unnecessary poly. You can be created that object from one mesh ( as I tried ), and not to combine several smaller sub-models. Then it is easier to UV-map. In this way you save (not necessarily a lot) poly.

I'm afraid that the heating system doesn't work... The heating button is not switchable, while the A/C works fine...

L'interruttore "Riscaldamento interno" non si può pigiare, mentre quello "Riscaldamento autonomo" non sembra abbia alcun effetto. L'aria condizionata invece va alla perfezione!

That's no true! The heating system works by using the keyboard! So, just the switch is missing, but the bus gets warm anyway!
